About Maxuze cats:

The name Maxuze is a combination of my father's and my name; Max and Suzanne.  It is in honour of my deceased father, who instilled a love of all animals, but especially cats, in his family.  There was always a 'moggie' as part of our family, and although Dad thought he ruled the household, the cats ‘ruled the roost'.

And so in childhood my love affair with cats started.  When my twin daughters were 7 years of age I decided they were mature enough to properly appreciate and care for pets, and so their 7th birthday presents were two beautiful Ragdoll girls, Lilly and Blossom.  Blossom is still our best breeder, producing beautiful champions and bountiful litters.

Our cattery is based at home on a suburban block.  Our high set Queenslander was ideal for building in cages under the house, and we have a lovely outdoor run for the cats, linked to both upstairs and downstairs with doors and tunnels.  Mostly our ‘girls' rule the roost, sleeping on our beds and commanding pride of place in the house.  We all adore our 'babies' even my husband who pretends not to, but then carries one of them off to bed with him.
